The Memory Notes, Singing for Heart and Soul and Memory is a community of singers who are all affected by dementia: some are living with the condition, others in the group are carers and supporters.
The Memory Notes, led by Talking in Tune’s Musical Director Rowena Whitehead, is about building friendships and confidence and about having fun, all of which is enabled by singing in a supportive, relaxed environment. The group is inclusive, flexible and friendly and is open to people’s many changing needs and circumstances.
Memory Notes singers say:
‘I love singing with everyone. I look forward to Wednesdays’
‘It’s such a happy atmosphere’
